HISTORY
Ordinary Heroes started way back in the early 2000s. During an ice storm, we decided to sit down and create the foundation for a comic book. Initially hand-drawn, the comic was going to be an insane look at everyday joes fighting crime. The Ordinary Hero team would include Barry, Derrick, and a ton of horribly offensive (racist) sidekicks. Once the general idea was plotted out, we attempted to draw our comic. Unfortunately, our artwork looked like our four year-old selves did it. I pooped better artwork. Since we had no art, we just played video games and did other nerd stuff instead. Years would pass before we had our eureka moment.
In the last few years, Derrick discovered he could create a really distinct art style using Photoshop and digital photos. Derrick pitched the idea that the two re-imagine their old comic idea as a more reality-based, live-action comic book. That's where, as they say, history was made.
